Serve the homeless veterans who served us!!
How can we turn our back on those who served our country?
On a single night, more than half a million Americans are experiencing homelessness. No less than 150 million people, about 2 percent of the world’s population, are homeless. 1.6 billion, more than 20 percent of the world’s population lack adequate housing. Homelessness affects everyone in the community. As the population grows, so does the homelessness. Every Veteran deserves food in their stomach and a roof over the heads. Help us Help those who helped our country.
Life isn’t fair. Is it? What can we do to help?
We can do a lot more than we think. Serve those who served our country.
It is a well-known myth— Homeless are often stereotyped as “lazy”, “lack of goals, ambition, morale”, “free loaders” who are easily ignored and shut down by the society as “not my problem”. Homeless people experience poverty, economic hardship, stigmatization, exclusion, physical and mental health problems. Without an address, it is tough to access benefits, health and job services. Many of the homeless are reluctant to reach out for help. Parents do not want to be labeled as homeless out of fear of losing custody of their children. Homeless youth who avoids authorities because they don’t want to be sent to parent’s place or foster care. Some, suffering from mental disorders or substance abuse fear arrest or confinement at a medical center for treatment. There is more to the story behind the broken souls sleeping on the streets. Let’s hear them out so we can help them better.
Bellaland – Bellaland – Our mission is to provide shelter and basic needs for those who needs the most help. No Veteran should be sleeping on the streets. PERIOD. The future for homeless veterans is here. Our goal is to connect and communicate the “real stories of real veterans”, appeal to the compassionate communities and the government who can help us build a better pathway for the homeless veterans. We want to know them better so we can help them better to build and rebuild their lives. The mission of Bellaland is to provide a permanent solution for homeless veterans. The goal is to provide struggling homeless veterans a safe housing, access to services - food, shelter, health, mental health, respite care and job training.
The better world scientists and engineers of Bellaland want to fix homelessness using smart technology - A safe and stable community built by 3D printing and more that will "radically transform the way we build homeless shelters to serve the community better". It is easier and faster to use the top of the technology to build shelters and homes with less waste at lower cost. “This is not science fiction; this is science fact.” We want to use our smart programs and technology to find and create jobs by partnering with cities, states and organizations who can help us help the homeless veterans better.
Homelessness wears on our neighborhoods and businesses. The human condition of the homeless population is deplorable. It is shocking to experience extreme deprivation alongside prosperity. The cost to serve a homeless is $15,000 a year. The cost increases to $115,000 a year to serve individuals suffering from chronic homeless deplorable conditions. We are better than this, aren’t we?
Who want to put the best of our resources for a greater purpose? Let’s be smart and innovative in ending homelessness for veterans with the support of people and technology. A place to call home is a big step moving forward. Join us. Support us.
Help our veterans have a place they can proudly call home. Together, we can make a difference!
